How To Use

TOP WATER PLUG: The SPINE EEL has a cupped face. It can be fished like a popper on top water by holding the rod tip up and retrieving with short snaps of the rod tip. The SPINE EEL will dart along the water surface with erratic tail action and a splashing effect in front of the lure.

JERK BAIT: Allow to sink to desired depth and retrieve with fast, short jerks of the rod tip then bring in the slack and pause for 2 or 3 seconds and repeat. The SPINE EEL will move with a darting motion in combination with great tail action. Generally the fish will hit during the short pause.

TROLL: Adjust line length and boat speed to achieve desired lure depth.

JIG: Use as jig by fishing near bottom while raising and lowering rod tip.

Use the SPINE EEL in open water, on the surface or deep in the water column.

Cast in shallow water around rocks, weeds and structures.
