I was introduced to the “Spine Eel” on November 18, 2004, just in time for a trip to the Chesapeake Bay Bridge Tunnel (CBBT).  I’ve been testing a variety of lures on light spinning tackle long before I became a professional guide.  The “Spine Eel” produced in big dividends and has now become part of my productive arsenal that catches large striped bass.

This 32" striper was caught off Weepecket Island on October 17, 2007.

  These fish were caught with the Spine Eel in May 2005 during the night off the Oregon Inlet Bridge in Nags Head North Carolina.
